Committee Member Expectations

Certain expectations are required for any HYP member seeking to serve on one or more of our various committees.  They are as follows:

  • Attend at least 6 HYP Charlotte events or volunteer opportunities each year
  • Maintain an active paid membership in HYP

The following are open committee positions within HYP Charlotte:

  • Represent HYP Charlotte at HYP Charlotte volunteer events.
  • Help assist with improving the volunteer experience at HYP events.
  • Assist with recordkeeping of HYP volunteer event performance.
  • Develop relationships with potential donors to HYP
  • Research and establish communication with HYP donors
  • Assist with logistics of HYP Charlotte’s large fundraisers and monthly events
  • Help plan and devise new events for HYP Charlotte
  • Create and gather content
  • Write monthly newsletters
  • Help design and create Tiktoks
  • Help design and create the social media strategy
